Accounting 2007 Payroll Addin for Microsoft® Excel® 2007 allows you to enter the gross pay in Excel. The software will calculate the Social Security and Medicare taxes. You can then enter any additional withholding amounts. With one click the Accounting 2007 Payroll Addin for Microsoft Excel 2007 creates all the necessary general journal entries in Microsoft Office Accounting 2007. The addin reads your cash accounts and employee list from Office Accounting 2007. It then adds the formulas for Social Security and Medicare taxes. You can also add additional withholding.
When you are done, the system creates all the general journal entries for both the withholding amount and the employer contribution.
